Daonda Auto Glass and the Korea Specialized Martial Arts Federation MOU...to sponsor tournaments and perform glass restoration
Daonda Auto Glass (CEO Lee Jae-chun) signed a business agreement with the Korea Special Martial Arts Federation (President Choi Sang-hak) on the 22nd.Daonda Auto Glass, which provides glass repair and replacement services and technician training, is a franchise specializing in glass repair and replacement that provides partial restoration services using high-grade resins and various restoration technologies for damaged surfaces caused by stones thrown during driving without first replacing the expensive windshield.
In addition, it operates its own technician certification system, the ‘Glass Repair Technician‘ qualification, and compiled the first specialized technical book in Korea. The business agreement was signed based on the two companies‘ strategy to sponsor the '2020 Gyeonggi-do Youth Specialized Martial Arts Championship' scheduled to be held in September and provide glass restoration performance. In particular, the '2020 Gyeonggi-do Youth Specialized Martial Arts Championship' is an event organized by the Korean Specialized Martial Arts Federation, where the managers of each dojo in Gyeonggi-do select excellent athletes to determine the winner, and about 350 to 400 parents and students participate.
In this regard, Daonda Auto Glass CEO Lee Jae-chun said, “Glass restoration is already an advanced and popularized profession overseas. Every year, a world convention is held, and many technicians from all over the world participate to showcase their technical perfection and showy performances.”In Korea, the technical perfection is low and the performance aspect is weak, so we hope to instill a fresh image to the general public through this business agreement.
In response, Mr. Choi Sang-hak, CEO of the Korea Specialized Martial Arts Federation, said, “I admired the technical skills of Daonda Auto Glass. Glass repair technicians have a very good image as a fresh profession for young people growing up. There is no waste production and it is economical compared to expensive windshield replacement. We hope that many people will see the glass restoration technology at the competition in September,” said Mr. Lee.
